I bought this wetsuit to bridge the gap between my Xcel 4/3 superlight and my Xcel Infinity 6/5/4. It fits well and is easy to get on and off and was a great price. I may buy another for my daughter. I look forward to trying it in the water this winter.
I am in chilly water everyday. It is about 51 degrees Fahrenheit. I surf and boogie board and sup. I like the wind panels on the chest and back when I am sup-ing. I stay really warm. When I am submerged in the water just a tiny big of water comes in and it warms up really fast. I don't get that brain freeze feeling. The length of the arms and legs are great and so is the torso. Many wetsuits feel tight in the neck and shoulders on me and this one is cut differently. The zipper is really high end and I don't get any zipper freezes. The rubber in the suit is very stretchy for a 5mm wetsuit. Thankfully it is easy to swim in. The collar is very comfortable, more so I think than some of the other brands on the market. I buy Xcel because they make great wet suits, I feel good about supporting their business because they actually try to make green wetsuits.
