We bought these to keep the sun off my son and he liked it so much we got the shorty too when the water cooled. He wears the full in the colder months. We bought a size up and he wears a rash guard under so that there isn't too much room under the suit. So far we are almost 2 years into his first suits. We also have him wearing the 5mm henderson boots in child sizes and when he wears the shorty he wears the oneill reef boot.
