The unique characteristics of the nylon weave combined with the super lightweight neoprene rubber allows our Quantum Stretch suits extraordinary flexibility and stretch capabilities. Standard neoprene wetsuits and vests stretch one way but not the other. This is a limitation of the laminated nylon material necessary to construct a durable wetsuit.
The secret to staying warmer when diving is layering. You can't go wrong with the AKONA 5/3mm Quantum Stretch Hooded Vest. The vest is made with 4-way stretch nylon-2 neoprene prodvides a comfortable fit and a rubberized neck panel and exterior seal will reduce the amount of water entry. When combined with an AKONA wetsuit, the hooded vest works to create a glide-skin neck seal. Staying warm and dry is key to reduce fatigue while underwater giving you longer dive times, less heat loss and the ability to perform multiple dives in one day. This all means a more comfortable and enjoyable diving experience!
All Akona wetsuits come with a limited two-year warranty from the date of purchase from authorizes stores or dealers. It covers all material and quality issues but doesn�t include wear and tear from regular use or damage caused by chlorine or salt buildup.
